GreenScreen™

GreenScreen® line of solar shading fabrics are the high performance, PVC- free alternative to traditional shading fabrics, designed for solar control blind applications. GreenScreen® fabrics are produced from a specially designed pre-stretched polyester core yarn, and finished with a polyuerethane coating. The colour or dye is applied directly to the core yarn and is protected by the coating. GreenScreen® fabrics are the first PVC- free (completely recyclable) solar control product.

Application/Purpose

Elimination of PVC content in production of GreenScreen® fabrics means shades contain no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) and does not “off-gas” during the life of the product. It also makes it easier and quicker to recyclye GreenScreen fabrics and divert them from landfills. Dimensional stability minismises stretching and fabric wear apparent in conventiational PVC Coated, polyester-yarn fabrics.

Greenscreen® fabric is environmentally safe to produce and only a quarter of the amount of water is used compared to growing cotton.

Installation and Maintenance Summary

GreenScreen™ fabrics are suitable for a wide range of installation, including museums and galleries, airports, education institutions, health-care facilities, open-plan offices, sports arenas, theatres and retail spaces. GreenScreen™ is available as a rollershade. GreenScreen™ can either be installed reveal or on face fit by a fully trained technician.
