The 3mm and 4mm thick Jaydex membrane is designed for use on roofs, gutters, decks and wet areas as the first layer of a double layer system and all areas requiring detailing such as upstands, protrusions, rainwater heads and outlets. The membrane can be used as a top layer of a double layer system, or as a single layer system including tanking and below ground waterproofing. We also offer a range of decorative tiled asphalt shingles in a variety of styles and colours. Jaydex can offer a solution to match any of your waterproofing needs.

Jaydex Polibit Roofing is a plastomeric BRANZ Appraised waterproofing membrane industrially manufactured with a continuous process by impregnation of the reinforcement with a waterproofing compound made of distilled bitumen modified with saturated polyolefinic polymers Jaydex Polibit Roofing originates from a combination of a good quality waterpoofing compound with a non woven polyester reinforcement having high dimensional stability It presents a –5 deg. C cold flexibility and such general characteristics to be safely used in all cases requiring a barrier against water.

The membrane roof system, including any areas with a UV coating applied, must be regularly (at least annually) checked for damage, rubbish, debris and coating breakdown. Damage such as small punctures and tears must be repaired and coatings reapplied as recommend by Jaydex International Limited Special care must be taken when inspecting the membrane roof systems to ensure the continuing prevention of moisture ingress and repairs must be undertaken where required. Drainage outlets must be maintained to operate effectively.
