EcoSoft marks a new era in the development of high -performance and environmentally friendly carpet tile cushion backing.
br> Ecosoft is the next generation of carpet tile backing that is made from 90% post-consumer material re-engineered from millions of discarded drinking water bottles. This environmentally friendly backing not only meets all the stringent criteria required in a carpet tile but has been claimed to out performs the conventional PVC and bitumen hard backings as well as the urethane cushion backing in durability, walking comfort and indoor air quality.

Application/Purpose

Carpet tiles with EcoSoft backing is the ideal choice for intensive use locations, including shopping mails, convention centres, schools, airports, offices and public buildings.

Performance Enhancement: Designed and engineered to absorb destructive impact from high foot traffic. Its superior compression and recovery properties significantly reduce fibre crush and wear-and-tear giving the carpet better appearance retention compared with the hard backings.

Superior Dimensional Stability: EcoSoft has been developed using a special process to obtain a superior dimensional stability, BS EN 986. This development is a breakthrough in the carpet tile industry – making it possible to stabilize a non woven backing dimensionally without the use of environmentally harmful fibreglass

PVC and Bitumen Free

Excellent Sound Absorption: Improves the sound adsorption coefficient and acoustical qualities of the workspace. Sound Absorption ENISO354 and ISO 11654
