ECO.EDGE mouldings and jambs are designed for interior use only. They should not be used in situations where they will be exposed to water, prolonged humidity or high temperatures, e.g. showers or saunas.
All of our standard products are available with Low Formaldehyde emissions EO. E0- Formaldehyde emission from a product that is less than 0.5mg/L using the desiccators testing method
Moisture Resistant MDF panel is remanufactured into architraves, shirtings and jambs. Once machined to shape most profiles are then sanded and vacuum coated with a water based acrylic paint.

Storage and conditioning - ECO.EDGE mouldings and jambs should be stored away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight in a well ventilated area. Prior to fixing it is recommended that the mouldings are removed from all packaging, separated and preconditioned Cutting – A fine toothed saw is recommended for cutting mouldings, with the blade cutting on the downward stroke. Fixing – Corrosion resistant fastening options included the following. Nailing - use standard finishing brad lengths, giving a minimum fixing penetration of 25mm into the framing timber. Stapling- Narrow crown staples are recommended. Excessive penetration below the surface should be avoided, regulative air pressure accordingly. Staple length should be twice the thickness of the moulding to allow sufficient hold into the framing timber. Adhesives - ECO.EDGE mouldings and jambs can be back fixed using contact or wall board adhesive in the area of installation for a minimum of 48 hours.
