The intricate grain, rich colourings, warmth, beauty and individuality of natural timber make the product highly desirable.Our wide range of veneer is skilfully worked to produce layons which are pressed onto a range of substrates. As well as the design aspects of Bestwood Natural Wood Veneer, we are also progressively securing independent certification through the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

The substrates available for overlaying the wood veneer are: Low formaldhyde emissions MDF Particleboard Other substrates are available but these may not comply with Green Star standards.
Bestwood Natural Wood Veneer can be supplied in a variety of substances, including options for low formaldhyde emissions MDF. These are available in a selection of gauges and sizes ensuring the correct option for almost every specification. For a list of available sizes please visit www.bestwood.co.nz. Low levels of formaldehyde are emitted from Bestwood Natural Wood Veneer as the panels contain resin which is applied between the layon and substrate.
To ensure your Bestwood Natural Wood Veneer maintains is colour and quality cleaning is recommended. For dusting use a soft dry cloth or feather duster and for polishing use a high quality furniture polish (non-silicone based). For any spillages, these should be cleaned with a damp cloth as soon as possible; moisture may cause damage to the coating. If you get any persistent marks, these may be removed by mild non-abrasive cleaner appropriate for the surface finish. Do not use “spray & wipe” solutions or excessive force when removing marks. Direct sunlight should be avoided on all internal veneered surfaces as fading, bleaching or colour changes of the surface coating may occur
