Application/Purpose

For the interior and exterior installation of outdoor dimensionally stable rubber, polypropylene (actionBac®),and closed-cellular urethane foam-backed carpeting.

Benefits/Advantages

Ultrabond Eco 420 is a high-tack adhesive that can be used indoors and outdoors. Very easy to apply by trowel with excellent coverage.
Can be used on the following substrates
- Exterior-and marine-grade plywood
- Dry concrete
- Asphalt paving (clean and well-cured )
Compatible with most types of artificial turf products for direct-stick applications such as bowling greens, cricket pitches, hockey pitches etc.

Technical Properties

Open Time- 10 to 20 minutes
Drying Time- 24 hours (cure time)
Shelf life- 12 months when stored in original container @23ºC.
Freeze/thaw stability as low as -18ºc- Stable
Flash point- Nonflammable , solvent free
Maximum MVER of concrete(ASTM F1869)- 1.36kg per 92.9m2 per 24 hrs
Cleanability- With water while fresh, with mineral spirits when dried.
Colour- Light beige
Consistency- Buttery
Health and Safety- Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for safe-handling instructions.

Open times vary based on temperature, humidity, substrate, trowel size and job-site conditions.

Installation and Maintenance Summary

-Use typical notched trowel (3x3x3mm for smooth-backed carpet,4.5x3x3mm for rough-backed carpet
-Install the flooring material into the adhesive while it is still fresh
-Roll floor-covering across the length and width of product
-Complete installation per the flooring material manufacturers instructions
-Promptly clean any adhesive smudges from the flooring material’s surface with water
-Provide for expansion and control joints where specified
