Ultrabond Eco 200 is a performance- grade multi purpose adhesive that has a slip time designed for installing felt – backed sheet goods flooring and positioning patterned carpets.

Application/Purpose

Used to install carpets with jute, polypropylene (Action Bac®), latex- unitary, sponge – rubber, hot – melt, (Unibond ®), needle-punched, closed – cellular urethane and Enhancer backings; and felt-backed sheet vinyl.

Benefits/Advantages

Ultrabond Eco 200 is low in VOCs, and solvent-free.

Contains Bio Block technology to help inhibit the growth of various types of odour and stain – causing mould, mildew and bacteria. Bio Block technology provides built in anti microbial protection without expensive additives, extra steps or added time. br>
This product has received the Carpet and Rug Institute certificate number GLP84381 for low VOC.

Composition

Polymer based adhesive in aqueous dispersion.

Technical Properties

Technical Data: (based on 73º F [23ºC] and 50% relative humidity.

Open Time* - 30 x 50 minutes
Drying time - 24 hours ( cure time)
Shelf life - 24 months when stored in original containers at 73º F [23º C ] in a dry, heated area.
Freeze/thaw stability at 0º F, -18º C - Stable 5 cycles
Flash point - Non flammable, solvent- free
Maximum MVER of concrete (ASTM F1869) - 1.36kgs per 92.9m² per 24 hours
Clean ability - With water while fresh; with mineral spirits when dry.
Colour - Light beige
Consistency - Buttery
Packaging - 15 litre pail

Installation and Maintenance Summary

Use a notched trowel to ensure 100% coverage of the Flooring materials backing. Follow the Floor covering manufacturer’s recommendations regarding the proper trowel to use.
Install the flooring material into adhesive while it is still fresh.
Use roller across the width and length of the Flooring surface.
Provide for control and expansion joints where specified.
Restrict traffic for 24 hours to allow proper adhesive setup.
