Application/Purpose

For walls and ceilings in bedrooms, living rooms, children’s rooms, Health institutions e.g. hospitals, nursing homes, schools and suited to high traffic corridors and foyers. Most water based paints contain ammonia at a level which causes them to smell strongly in the can and during application. Ammonia has been removed from EcoProof to such a low level that there is no ammonia odour and no vapour to sting the eyes and nose.

Benefits/Advantages

No paint odours, means that in a ventilated room, odours will be eliminated after one hour.

Low environmental impact, Taubmans EcoProof’s new formula is 99.7% VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) free in tinted paint products. These VOC’s are one of the causes of paint odours and also contribute to air pollution, both indoors and in the atmosphere.

Ammonia free, ammonia has been removed to such a low level that there is no ammonia odour and no vapour to sting the eyes and nose. Improved stain repellence, Taubmans EcoProof is even more repellent to stains, scuffing and washing.

More persuasive reasons why Taubmans EcoProof is the only product that should be considered for quality interior painting.

Installation and Maintenance Summary

Maintenance:
White paint takes up to 2 weeks to fully cure, tinted colours take even longer. Avoid cleaning painted surfaces until they are fully cured.

The most effective cleaner for Taubmans EcoProof is a soapy solution, followed by a good rinse / wipe to remove all residues..

Never scrub a painted surface, this polishes the surface and causes shiny patches. Use a soft sponge and a gentle wiping motion. Rinse well with clean water
