Work is in progress and results will be published shortly.There are five products in the Firth Brick Veneer range: Focus® Bricks are the size of traditional bricks and have smooth, clean lines that are ideal to create a contemporary effect. Pioneer® Bricks are the size of traditional bricks and are rumbled to give an established, ’heritage’ appearance. Devonstone™ Bricks have a natural look that suits many building styles. Manorstone® Bricks have a larger format and resemble natural stone. Summit Stone® have a rough-hewn face and bolstered edges giving them the look of natural, handcrafted stone.

All products in the Firth Brick Veneer range provide an ideal way to create an attractive, durable, low maintenance cladding on homes and commercial developments. The Firth Brick Veneer range also can be used for landscaping features such as retaining walls, fences, patios and steps.
Firth Bricks capture the aesthetics of natural stone or traditional bricks. They enable construction of a low maintenance, durable, attractive cladding. The security and protection of a veneer cavity system allows moisture to escape between the veneer and the framing, avoiding the risk of moisture becoming trapped and the timber framing not drying out. The range of available colours provides design flexibility.
Manufactured in concrete; an inert material comprising aggregates, sand, cement, water, additives and colourants. Aggregates and sand are sourced close to manufacturing locations. Cement is New Zealand made. No toxic preservatives required for preventing rot. Firth is committed to sustainability in concrete manufacture and distribution, including the recycling of surplus raw materials, water and leftover concrete. Colour range: Focus® Brick and Pioneer® Bricks: Autumn Hues, Calico, Cream and Ochre. Devonstone™ and Manorstone® available in Tranquility. In the South island Serenity and Highlander are also available. Summit Stone® available in Premium White and Antique White. Other colours made to order.

Construction is to meet NZS 4210. Mortar joints must be a consistent width. Mortar joints pointed and properly compacted by tooling. Control joints required at every door, window or other opening. Where there are no openings control joints required within 3m of a corner or at maximum 6m centres along rest of wall. Provide ventilation gaps at the top of all panels and weep holes at the bottom. Use of complementary or contrasting mortar from Dricon® is recommended.
