Work is in progress and results will be published shortly.Dricon® has a range of five Bagged Sands. Dricon PaveLock® is a stabilising jointing sand that enhances the durability and appearance of paved surfaces. Dricon® PaveSand™ is a specially dried, formulated product applied to the surface of paving. Dricon® Builders Mix is the perfect mix for making concrete. Dricon® Builders Sand is a general purpose sand. Dricon® Plaster Sand is a blend of Puni No. 1 sand and scientifically graded sand.

Dricon PaveLock® forms a semi-pliable joint when activated with water that allows slight movement of the pavers. It is recommended for bonding the joints of new masonry and clay paving in domestic driveways and footpaths. Dricon® PaveSand™ is ideal for use on domestic driveways and footpaths. Dricon® Builders Mix is ideal for adding to cement for smaller domestic concreting projects. Dricon® Builders Sand can be used in basic mortars, cobble and paving stone sub-bases and sandpits for children’s play areas. Dricon® Plaster Sand is formulated specifically for plasters and mortars.
Dricon PaveLock® is resistant to weed growth and insect infestation. It locks in greater strength and durability for paved surfaces. Dricon® PaveSand™ maximises the long-term performance of paving. Dricon® Builders Mix is particularly convenient for smaller concreting projects. Dricon® Builders Sand is suitable for a wide range of construction uses. Dricon® Plaster Sand is a reliable, scientifically graded fine sand that is ideal for plasterers who prefer to mix their own plasters and mortars.
Dricon PaveLock® is a combination of correctly graded sands and additives. Dricon® PaveSand™ is a specially dried, formulated paving sand. Dricon® Builders Mix is a blend of 14mm chip and Puni No. 1 sand. Dricon® Builders Sand has a maximum particle size of 1.18mm and an average size of approximately 0.4mm. It does not contain shells. Dricon® Plaster Sand contains the absolute minimum of salts and has a maximum particle size of 1.18mm with 30% passing through 0.3 mm.
Dricon PaveLock® and Dricon® PaveSand™ meet NZS 3116 for joint sand grading specification.
Dricon PaveLock® is particularly suitable for bonding joints in high wind areas and steep gradients. Dricon® PaveSand™ is applied to the surface of paving so it flows into the joints ensuring lock-up and load transfer.
