Application/Purpose

Dricon® HandiCrete®. Suitable for small, general construction projects. Typical uses include: paths, mowing strips, garden edges, posts, letterboxes and repairs.

Dricon® RapidSet™. A convenient way of placing concrete around fence posts, washing lines and letterbox supports. No mixing is required; simply place the post, fill the hole with water, then slowly add RapidSet™. Not recommended where structural concrete or a smooth finish is required.

Dricon® High Strength RapidSet™. Can be used in the same way as Dricon® RapidSet™. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring extra strength, such as foundations, fence corner posts or decking supports.

Benefits/Advantages

Convenient – just add water
No waste – easy to plan quantities, ideal for small projects
No mess– what isn’t used stays in the bag

Dricon® HandiCrete®. Ideal for a quality, smooth finish.

Dricon® RapidSet™. Speeds progress, no mixing necessary just add directly to water in the hole. No bracing required, hold posts in position a few minutes while Dricon® RapidSet™ begins to harden. After only an hour the concrete is hard enough to continue work such as setting string lines and hammering rails.

Dricon® High Strength RapidSet™. Speeds progress and 28-day strength of 30 MPa makes it suitable for structural applications.

Composition

Dricon RapidSet® includes additives to hasten setting times. One 25 kg bag makes 0.012m3 of concrete.

Dricon® High Strength RapidSet™ includes additives to hasten setting and provide a 28-day strength of 30MPa. One 20 kg bag will make 0.01m3 of concrete.
