Typical uses: As a pre-treatment on • Aluminium • Baked enamels • Copper and its alloys • Glass and ceramics • Laminated surfaces • Melamine • Most glazed surfaces • Old varnished surfaces Application: Apply by spray, brush, speed brush or roller. Light bubbling may occur with some rollers and will require laying off. See Resene Data Sheet D47a and product label for full details. Limitations: 1. Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer is not designed to give long-term exterior protection without overcoating. Durability of up to three months may be expected in mild marine conditions or better. 2. The system will usually attain maximum adhesion after several days. 3. Might not adhere to all plastics. A test patch is recommended
• Rapid dry time. • Unsurpassed adhesion over a variety of nonferrous surfaces. • Useful over plastics, such as Formica® laminates. • Compatible with all topcoats tested. • May be overcoated within two hours with waterborne topcoats. • An Environmental Choice approved product. Unwanted paint and paint containers can be returned to the Resene PaintWise paint and paint packaging recovery programme. Resene products are guaranteed to provide film integrity and adhesion for the expected life of the paint system. Maintenance: Avoid cleaning the paint finish until at least four weeks after application time to ensure it has had sufficient time to fully develop its properties.
