Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen is the result of long, careful, intensive research. This breakthrough product may be used to bring enamel style toughness to broadwall areas, allowing you to get a low sheen finish without sacrificing durability. So adaptable that it may also be used on joinery and trim, both inside and out.

Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen is also available in Kitchen & Bathroom variant. Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen Kitchen & Bathroom combines the benefits of a waterborne enamel with added anti-bacterial silver protection and MoulDefender.

Application/Purpose

Typical uses:
• Architraves
• Bathrooms

Application:
Apply by brush, speed brush, synthetic fibre roller (Resene No.1) or spray. Thin with up to 5% Resene Hot Weather Additive in hot, dry conditions to slow drying.

Limitations:
1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period.
2. Ensure the correct primers and/or sealers are used.
3. Due to waxes used in particle and fibreboard it is essential that Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat (see Resene Data Sheet D45) is used as the first coat on these substrates.
4. Although serviceable within 12-48 hours, full print and solvent resistance takes 30 days to develop.

Unwanted paint and paint containers can be returned to the Resene PaintWise paint and paint packaging recovery programme. Returns are donated to community groups, sent to solvent recovery, packaging is recycled and other paint goes into covering graffiti and research on alternative uses. See link to Resene PaintWise.

Installation and Maintenance Summary

Resene products are guaranteed to provide film integrity and adhesion for the expected life of the paint system. See the link for a full copy of the Resene Promise of quality, which includes details of the expected paint system life.

Maintenance: Avoid cleaning the paint finish until at least four weeks after application time to ensure it has had sufficient time to fully develop its properties.
