Very adaptable, it can also be used on interior wet areas and joinery and trim, both inside and out.Resene SpaceCote Flat also comes in a Fly Deterrent variant. Resene SpaceCote Flat Fly Deterrent combines all the benefits and performance of Resene SpaceCote with the added bonus of fly deterrent. Extensive testing by an accredited laboratory has shown significant reductions in fly spots compared to standard paint systems. Typical uses: • Architraves • Bathrooms • Furniture • Kitchens • Laundries • Plywood • Skirtings • Timber doors • Wallboards • Window frames Application: Apply by brush, speed brush, synthetic fibre roller (Resene No.1) or spray. Thin with up to 5% Resene Hot Weather Additive in hot, dry conditions to slow drying. See Resene Data Sheet D314 and product label for full details. Limitations: 1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period. 2. Ensure the correct primers and/or sealers are used. 3. Due to waxes used in particle and fibreboard it is essential that Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat (see Resene Data Sheet D45) is used as the first coat on these substrates. 4. Although serviceable within 12-48 hours, full print and solvent resistance takes 30 days to develop.

Ideal for GIB® ToughZone areas. • Non-yellowing. • May be used wherever solventborne enamels have traditionally been used. • Resene SpaceCote Flat may be applied over Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat (see Resene Data Sheet D45) or directly over sound, clean old enamel surfaces. • SpaceCote Flat Fly Deterrent has a novel formulation designed to discourage flies from landing on areas painted with this product minimising the appearance of fly spots and keeping the paint finish looking its best for longer. • Clean, spatter free application . • An Environmental Choice approved product. Unwanted paint and paint containers can be returned to the Resene PaintWise paint and paint packaging recovery programme. Returns are donated to community groups, sent to solvent recovery, packaging is recycled and other paint goes into covering graffiti and research on alternative uses. See link to Resene PaintWise.

Resene products are guaranteed to provide film integrity and adhesion for the expected life of the paint system. Maintenance: Avoid cleaning the paint finish until at least four weeks after application time to ensure it has had sufficient time to fully develop its properties.
