This breakthrough product may be used in all those areas traditionally reserved for solventborne enamels. Non-yellowing, fast drying and has much lower odour than solventborne counterparts. Resene Lustacryl is also available in a Resene Cool Colour variant. NB. Resene Cool Colours need to be clearly identified in both the product specification and colour schedule to ensure correct tinting is applied. Typical uses: • Architraves • Bathrooms • Furniture • Kitchens • Laundries • Plywood • Skirtings • Timber doors • Wallboards • Window frames Application: Resene Lustacryl may be applied by brush, speed brush, synthetic fibre roller or spray. In hot dry conditions thin with up to 5% Resene Hot Weather Additive. See Data Sheet D310 and product label for full details. Limitations: 1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period. 2. Ensure the correct primers and/or sealers are used. 3. Due to waxes used in particle and fibreboard it is essential that Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat (see Resene Data Sheet D45) is used as the first coat.

Cool colours reflect more heat than standard colours, reducing stress on the paint, substrate and building, reducing heat transference inside and minimizing the need for air conditioning. Unwanted paint and paint containers can be returned to the Resene PaintWise paint and paint packaging recovery programme. Returns are donated to community groups, sent to solvent recovery, packaging is recycled and other paint goes into covering graffiti and research on alternative uses. See link to Resene PaintWise.

Resene products are guaranteed to provide film integrity and adhesion for the expected life of the paint system. Maintenance: Avoid cleaning the paint finish until at least four weeks after application time to ensure it has had sufficient time to fully develop its properties.
